Roaming Milan

Oh Milan how you’ve charmed me. It’s been 9 days since I arrived and I’ve already seen so much but, yet there’s still so much more to do.

Duomo: breathtaking. I don’t think I will ever get tired of passing through here. No matter how many tourists there are in a given day, it’s hard to stay away.

Navigli: I happened to pass by here once but, be patient. I will (for sure) explore this zone in the next few weeks. After all, it’s the best place for aperitivo.

Sfortza Castle: Worth to look around. They sometimes have special exhibitions such as, the recycled water showcase yesterday. It had different ideas of how water could be recycled in your home. Worth checking out.

Arco della Pace: Awesome area to sit and chill. There are a lot of youngsters who come here to hang out and socialize. It is also good to point out that there are also some sketchy individuals here but, cops frequent the area whether it rains or shines. Safety is never an issue.

Parco de Siompione: I totally got lost here the first time I came and found the park by accident. Of course, I didn’t mind being lost since it was a beautiful day but, this park basically connects between the Sfortza Castle and the Arc. It’s also a good spot to read your books, watch people or relax.

Brera District (The Art District): By far, the most favorite area of mine in Milan. Are you surprised? I fell in love with the fact that they preserved the cobblestones. It gives it a different vibe, as it is a quieter area in compare to other parts of Milan. Also, the colors of the architectures and the narrow passageways adds to the district’s charm.

…and more to come🙂
